Fun Fishin'

Here's our fun weekend of camping/fishing. Friday John came home and said "Pack up some clothes we're going camping." So off we went, and after a night of screaming kids and no sleep we went fishing and then had a weenie roast. Then I had enough and we went home. It was a little fun for me but lots of fun for the kids and John.

Playing like sisters

Here's the girls playing together. Katie follows Paige and tries to do somersaults. She finally gave up and got into the laundry basket with the phone to have a nice conversation to whomever was on the other line in her imagination, usually Grandpa or Grandma. Paige does this awesome somersault where she does 3 donkey kicks in a row and does a little hand stand and rolls it forward. It's awesome to see. Sorry about the messy house, I took a break that day, lol.

Having fun outdoors

Here's the girls and me outside waiting for daddy to get home, really late. Katie just loves our weeds, aka sunflowers. She always goes and pulls one or two off to play with. I have to make sure to help her or else she will pull one off with tons of bugs. Oh yeah, Katie loves to eat bugs, gross huh? They both love to pick up ants and play with them. Kinda scary for me though. I am afraid they will get bitten. Katie all of the sudden decided to roll on the ground and since mom was taking a picture of it Paige decided to do the same.

Fingerpainting FUN!

Here are the girls having tons of fun painting with their fingers. I mixed food coloring into some vanilla pudding for Katie that's why her mouth is all different colors. Paige helped me make the pudding so she got her fill before we started painting.

I'm a swimmer!

These are really old pictures, but they're important. Here is Paige in her swimming lessons she surprised me on how much she could do. I really underestimated her. I wanted to put her in the next class, but with fuel expenses this class was like 200 dollars! But worth it, she loved swimming with her friends from gymnastics, because that's where we did them at.

OOPSY SORRY EVERYONE!

Sorry everyone I have gotten a bit lazy on the blogger. Also, it took me this long to get new batteries in my camera, how embarrassing. Anyway, there has been a lot going on. We just got back from a fun trip to Vegas, without kids, and I got an outfit for our baby boy who is due to arrive in just 17 weeks!!! We also got a long awaited new highchair and helped Christine and Mark buy their baby some stuff. My brother Chris and his wife Katy came to visit and it was nice to see them, although it was only a very short visit. We gave Katy some things for her new arrival, a boy as well.
Paige is being a three year old and testing her limits with me constantly. She has finally learned to ride her bike, Hooray! I was starting to worry a little. She loves to go on bike rides and since the nearest pavement is a ways down our street I get a little exercise too.
Katie is a troublemaker. This weekend alone she learned how to open by twisting off lids. I opened her door in the morning to see if she was awake and found her completely covered white with her diaper rash cream. I was too upset to snap a pic, because right before that happened I had to give Paige a shower because she wet the bed, which was the first time in a long time. Then yesterday she found some acrylic paint and decided to taste it and drip it all over Paige's room. Oh boy, I can't keep her out of trouble.
I have had some troubles this month. I somehow popped my pelvic bone out of place and have had excruciating pain, but thanks to physical therapy it is getting better. I have to go 1-2 times per week for 1-2 hours!! It's hard to find babysitter that much without having them burnt out.
John has just been the same, although he was forced to do housework for almost a week when I couldn't even get out of bed without crying. He actually did great and I am so lucky to have him. I only got the occasional "Do I have to?" look.
Well that about sums you up, enjoy the pics.
