6 weeks come and gone
HOLY COW!!!! My baby is 6 weeks already????!!! Crap! That means it's time to start exercising. I went to my appt. and have lost 21 lbs from birth. BUT, I still have 19 to go......BUMMER! That's just to get to my pre-preg. weight. I plan to be at my pre-preg weight by the baby's birthday (hopefully sooner). I keep weight on when I breastfeed for some reason. Then I shall tackle the other 25 from Paige that I still have on me. So I am trying to get John to diet with me. We will see how that goes. I don't know how we are gonna lose weight, but we will iron that out in the next couple of weeks. I am hoping by the middle of next year to be at my goal weight of UNDER 140. Seems pretty steep, but there are a few ladies out here that do work outs in the morning that I will start up as soon as my muscles get a little stronger. Right now I can't hardly walk with how poor my muscle strength is. Wish me luck. And if I call you to complain about being hungry, just tell me to shut up or something ;)

An update on us
Well, we are starting our lives over. We don't have to move, yet. We probably won't have to move for 5-10 months. That's what the lawyer thinks. We decided to move before the next school year so we don't have to uproot Paige. I am excited to move on with our lives. John is still hoping we can stay here if he gets another job (eyes rolling). Well he is actively looking for some other job, either replace his current for higher pay, or a second job until the market returns. We ultimately would love to stay and make his current job work, but if the market doesn't turn I am not sure how long his job will be there. Just speculation. I will miss my neighborhood in New Harmony. It is the best place for my kids. I will still see my friends, though. ( I hope) We had a great 3 years here.
All the problems we have been through have not made John and I grow apart. It has actually made us learn to talk through our problems and figure out the right solution. I just wish john would budge more ;) That amazes me because we went through some pretty tough stuff and we hardly fought about it. It made us learn how important a budget is. It also taught me to not be so frivolous. I took for granted John's job with Stock. He made such good money we never in our wildest dreams would have thought we would be here. But in a way it was good for us to realize our faults and work on them for the future. With no credit we are going to HAVE to save up for things now instead of just a quick purchase.
I do look forward to the future and hope the construction industry will pick up so we won't be so tight on money. Or I hope John can find a job he loves and doesn't mind going to every day.
