Paige's first homework

This is Paige's first homework assignment. She is supposed to cut out this and make it look like herself. She did so good. I did not help her at all! I love her so much and am so proud of her.

Be grateful

a few thoughts

Well I am extremely tired, but here's a few thoughts for you:

I am so grateful to my hubby and kids. I love them so much. I remember being just a stay-at-home and thinking I would be a better mom if I worked a little. WRONG!! I have no time for anything anymore. I get home and want to sleep and am crabby, clean, and just go through the motions until nap time. I have been trying to do more with the kids at night, but then we try to keep to a bedtime schedule. I have been trying to get myself to wake Paige up at 7 am and start a school schedule, but have not succeeded in implementing that yet. Maybe tomorrow (hehe). I do miss my kids more. I especially miss dates with John, but since we don't have $$ it's kinda good we don't go out. Our movie night is even gone since I work such stupid hours.

Katie is coming along nicely in her colors, shapes, and letters. I have been doing flash cards with her and teaching her when I can. Joey is learning at the same time. He says most of them when I say them. It's so cute. Katie can recognize her name and loves to trace over it. she is the best drawer of the family so far. If anyone wants to see just come look at the murals she has left throughout the house (UGH).

Paige starts school in 20 days. I am scared to death, but excited for her. I know that her sheltered life of her only learning what I want her to know is almost gone, but it must happen to us all. She is beside herself with excitement. We bought her first school clothes with Grandma the other day and she loves everything. She picked out some new hair things and we are going to go to old navy and Children's place to pick out her "first day" outfit.

John has got a full time position starting on Sept. 1st, so financially we will be in a better situation. Which is great, but at the same time I liked him being home to watch the kids. It really made him be a better DAD :) I will miss the clean house too. Yes, he is a better house keeper than me. But I think it's only because he did it for a month and I have done it for 7 years and am sick of it :)

I miss my friends and time to spend just dinking around, but I am looking forward to maternity leave........YAY!!, 4 months.

Well love you all and glad you are all still my friends after not having any time for anyone.

Summer Fun

So the kids had fun playing in the sprinklers. Well, except for Katie, she doesn't like them for some reason. But Paige and Joey sure do.

Champ

Joey LOVES to play ping pong. He always carries the paddles and balls around wanting to play. While I am at work John is so sweet to play with him. I got a few pics of them on my day off. They're so cute.

well here I am

Well here I am at 21 weeks. I know I am HUGE!! But that's ok, it's my last one :)

AND THE VERDICT IS.........

Yes everyone, we are HAPPY to announce that our family will be completed around December 16th (my birthday) with our final baby boy. I was a little worried because I had a VERY strong feeling another boy needed to be in the family and if this one was a girl I was gonna have to try one more time. Well the ultrasound tech put the probe on and this is what we saw. This was the first image of the baby that was saw which was pretty amazing. we usually had to wait till the end to find out what it is, but this one wanted us to know right away. We currently have no names, well I don't (John still wants Butch, ugh).
