love my kids

OK, so although they have all gotten into their bad phases again, my kids are the best. Joey was playing chase with me today and just laughing his cute little laugh that I love so much. Katie decided to join in and we had a tickle war. I think the best medicine in the world is your kid's laughter. Paige is acting so grown up now. She has somehow changed in the last 3 months into a little girl instead of a preschooler. I will miss her cute little things, but she is so fun now just sitting down and having conversations with her about life and her curiosities. (especially how babies come out of your "buh-gina" LOL) FYI you-tube helps a lot when you show a dog giving birth.

Well I just wanted to tell everyone, as chaotic life is, spend as much time as possible making your kids laugh. It's the best medicine for all.

Oh and I am taking donations for my maid service fund. Checks are accepted (LOL) ;)

Thanks Steph

I just want to say thanks to Steph, who is a timeline queen. She always puts my chaotic life in perspective. Today we were talking about the next few months before the baby is born and how fast it is going to fly. Well now I was looking at my blog and noticed Joey is turning 2, YES 2!!!, in 6 months and a week. Well the baby is not that far off from there. So I am freaking out!!! Where did the last 2 1/2 months go??? I am that far along already??!!! any way, Thanks steph for making me realize the reality of how soon I am going to have 4 (holy crap!) kids. (No really, I do love her) ;)

BLAH!!

I have a serious problem. I need all of you who are losing weight to STOP!! All your fat is somehow finding it's way to me and sticking onto me!!! No, I am proud of all of you who are almost to their goal weight or getting close. I was there last year. I was only 7 pounds away from my goal weight, ugh. Well I am feeling sorry for myself because I was just looking at pictures of myself and was seriously disgusted. And for all of you who say it's pregnancy, I'm only almost 9 wks so it's not that. I am more active now even...........Whatever. I will hit it hard after the baby. Love to all. I know at least you all will still love me no matter what I look like.

mother's day

Well for mother's day this year we went to the water park by Susan's house, visited Susan, visited Annie, and went to dinner with my family. The funniest part about this mother's day was finding out how much me and Katie are alike. We went shopping on Saturday for mother's day, I know procrastinators. I made John take the girls to pick something out for me. Well come mother's day I get my gift, a photo album with a recordable greeting from the kids, it was the same gift I had chosen for the grandma's, LOL. The reason this is funny because John said it took Katie 30 seconds to find something and pick it out and it was the same thing that I picked out. How cute. Paige was so sweet on Mother's day. She was telling me how much she loved me all day. I love my kids. They're the BEST!!

We like the heat (so far)

Well it's that time of year. We love spring!! the kids have been outside so much lately. The have so much fun playing with the "creek" AKA the faucet turned on low to make a creek. And joey loves it outside and doesn't care if he has shoes or not.

Katie's bad luck

OK, so my poor daughter had a few weeks there where I felt so bad for her. She got sick on a Tues. night and had a fever of 103.6. The fever wound up lasting for four days. I thought she had the stomach flu because #1 she wouldn't eat #2 she said her tummy hurt and #3 she threw up. so finally Thurs. night she still had a fever and I knew it wasn't the stomach flu. I took her to insta care where they looked her over and found out she had strep and an ear infection and another red ear. They gave her a penicillin shot (ouch) and sent her on her way. Well the next Tuesday she was doing so much better I took her to gymnastics. Afterward I had to run to wally world and she wouldn't walk. Well, she didn't wear socks so I thought she had a blister. When we got to the car she wouldn't even put pressure on her foot. So I looked and about 2 weeks prior she had jumped off the stool in the bathroom onto a plastic ring that broke into a bunch of pieces. Well her foot had a huge pussy thing on it and was all purple around it. I called up Christine and she thankfully watched Paige and Joey so I could take her to the night clinic at my pediatricians. Of course, they had some PA there that I didn't know. He looked at her foot, went and got some supplies, and then, without numbing stuff, cut off the pussy part and stuck tweezers up her foot about 1/4 (or more) of an inch. She was screaming so bad I even felt the thing in her foot. She was so brave and took it. The doctor FINALLY stopped and said the feeling of an object went away once he took off the top part (don't get me started!!!). SO she got put on antibiotics again and I took her to the store to pick out WHATEVER she wanted. It could have cost 1 million dollars, but I would buy it for her for what she went through.
