Ok so is it just me or is this year going by in warp drive? I can't believe it's almost October!! I am not prepared for my newborn due to arrive in just 75 days! That's if I go to my due date, Yikes! Katie is growing up so fast and is talking so well now. She says 2-3 word sentances and her pronuciation is getting better everyday. Here's some of her favorite words:

Our Big Boy!!!

Ok, so this last weeks Dr.s appt. was a little upsetting. I found out my blood pressure was up (could've been getting the kids up, ready, fed, and out of the house by 8 am), my weight is going crazy (total 22 lbs so far), and I was measuring at 34 weeks when I am only 28!! I got another ultrasound yesterday and found out that everything looked ok (according to the technician), but the baby is just really big already (Yay for me). The ultrasound said my due date was Nov. 20 and my actual one is Dec. 5. I just hope he's not 10 lbs by then. Yikes!! Enjoy the picture of his cute face. He has my nose and cute chubby cheeks :)

Mittens on

Here are the girls pretending to touch hot stuff. It is so cute to hear Katie say "Ouch! Hot!" And I don't know what is up with Paige and her pants. I think she has a phobia of pants! LOL

My Backyard

Here is a pic of my beautiful backyard. New Harmony is such a nice place to live. We actually have four seasons here. We are just entering fall around here and the weather is great. Still a little too warm for me because of excess weight and hormones, but still great in the morning 50 degrees. The girls and I have started taking walks at night and it makes me feel good about myself to know that we are all getting some exercise. I love our picture window in our house this is the view I find myself wasting awat numerous hours on the couch just staring into. John loves it out here too. He has done more yardwork, honey-dos, and of course

I wanna be like Dad

Here's Paige after she found John's mudboots and decided that she was Daddy.

Handprints and Footprints

This day was such a nice day. Our high was 80 and that was at 4pm. The girls and I decided to head outside and make hand and footprints. They had so much fun in the water until it got too cold for them.

What the Heck?

I downloaded these pictures and can honestly say I don't know why Katie had underwear on her head, but it sure is funny. Paige is playing not with her gazillion toys, but a broken whistle and a chop stick. I don't understand them sometimes, but they ssure do make me laugh. Oh Yeah! LOOK my house is clean!!! LOL

Little MONSTER!!!

Here is our laundry basket monster. Her favorite thing to do is dump everything out and play monster with mommy or sister. She is so cute!!

Healthy Snacks

I try my best to give my girls adequate nutrition and so I wanted a snapshot of it. I also think Paige looks cute eating a big ol' apple. Katie puts up a fit when I don't give her a whole apple, but she's been choking on things lately so I have been extra cautious cutting up things.

The Reunion

This last weekend was our annual Pectol family reunion. We all really missed staying the weekend up in Zion, but I was way too pregnant to camp for four days. We took the girls to the races on Saturday and they had so much fun. Katie blew the other 1 year olds away. She got a little 1st place trophy and some candy. Paige had first place until this other little girl kicked it in gear at the end, so Paige got 2nd. She was a bit disappointed she didn't get a trophy and Katie lost hers 2 seconds after I gave it to her. We stayed until dinner time and then headed home to get a much needed bath and bedtime.

Today is an anniversary of mine and John's life changing forever. We found out 4 years ago that we were pregnant with Paige. That was a crazy time in our life, especially since I had been on the Depo shot for 5 months. hahaha.
